How to Make Narcotic in Ark

The Narcotic is an item in ARK: Survival Evolved. It can be used to keep dinosaurs unconscious during Taming.
Narcotics provide a survivor or creature a torpor boost of 40 when consumed, which is somewhat more than the torpor provided by the 5 narcoberries needed to manufacture it (5 x 7.5 = 37.5). In addition, the drug does not go bad like the berries do.
The same quantity of Ascerbic Mushroom (Aberration) may be used in place of narcotic berries.
Usage
In the Taming process, drugs are mainly employed to keep dinosaurs unconscious. The Narcotic must be placed in the creature’s inventory, chosen, and used by hitting the Use key (E, Y, Triangle). The creature’s torpidity will then increase by 40 percent over the next 8 seconds.
5 Narcoberries will not yield quite as much torpor, but they also do not go bad like the berries do. The identical outcome can be achieved by using this method to an unresponsive player. Narcoberries are a superior option, especially for species whose torpor rapidly depletes (more specifically, at a rate more than 6.5 per second[1]), as the torpor will be increased for a total of 15 seconds by the five berries, as compared to just eight seconds by a single narcotic. Berries provide an advantage while taming dinosaurs like Giganotosaurus and Dimetrodon since the torpor will not lessen as it increases. Drugs and narcotic berries have no impact on the effectiveness of taming.
Additionally, narcotics can be used to temporarily accelerate the player’s health regeneration. However, due to the rapid increase in torpor that this induces, it will put you to sleep. Higher Fortitude players will be less susceptible to this effect and will be able to consume more Narcotics before passing out.
